QuickDraw launched in 2001 to show off WNC’s rich art and craft community, shine a light on art’s importance for students, and give a financial boost to strapped art programs in elementary through high schools. The live quickdraw event is a window on the creative process, with watchable artists who can work focused and fast to capture the essence and the color pops of outdoor painting, plus slower-media artists who like to show off their techniques.
You can be a part of this. QuickDraw’s must-do lively annual benefit event raises over 85% of the budget for art supplies in Haywood County classrooms. Quick Draw provides scholarships to students pursuing art-related fields of study, from art ed to product design to media. Since its first event, QuickDraw has donated over $214,000 in grants and scholarships to Haywood County art teachers and students.
QuickDraw is all-volunteer local folks in a 501c3 nonprofit. We know of art education's power for our kids and community. We partner with the Haywood County Schools Foundation to administer QuickDraw grants and scholarships.

Help art teachers teach
Your generous gift of any amount will help teachers make creative, explorative art spaces for children, as you help stock their classrooms with art supplies.
Donate by mail or in person, or use our convenient and secure donation form. All donations are tax deductible.
The age-old adage of the 'starving artist' holds true for many aspiring creatives. Your event "sponsor" donation helps QuickDraw cover event overhead for an artist or young artist to participate in the event.
This is a great way to show your appreciation for those who meaningfully impact our communities by enriching our lives with art.
