QD Feature: Race the Clock Artists (live auction)

image1

During Quick Draw's live art hour:

  • Start to finish in one hour
  • Abstract and plein aire artists
  • Confident, focused artists -- years of  plein aire unleashed in QD's controlled environment
  • Researched and planned to execute in the public eye
  • Gain a glimpse of how artists layer and build their works
  • Art professionally framed, ready to hang, sold at live auction
  • A real 'wow'  factor
  • Watch the stopwatch artists as they progress, and interact with the demo artists while they create and chat with you.

Artists Prep for the Magic Hour- On Your Mark, Get Set....

The QD afternoon begins as artists arrive and create mini-studios that encourage guest strolling.

High school volunteers help offload artists and watch how the pros set up their kits.

As guests arrive for a social, some artists are ready and eager to chat, other artists quietly prep for the one hour burst ahead.
