An accomplished painter and creator of a sculpted collectibles line, Gretchen founded QuickDraw in 2001, modeling the event on a Texas paint-out. Her Cedar Hill Studios gallery represented many artists and was a gathering place for decades in the Waynesville art community.

Her garden art includes wall art, birdbaths, and garden sculptures inspired by rocks.
