Quick Draw's annual event lets you show visible support for art teaching in schools, help art teachers inspire young minds and help students get to college in art related fields. Quick Draw showcases regional professional artists who have practiced for years to wow you on the spot.
We are a unique group of like-minded artists, organizers, donors, attendees and educators committed to showing art teachers we have their backs and fund the art experience of children in Haywood County Schools. QD welcomes (1) plein aire artists with nerves of steel who work fast and (2)studio demo artists who chat and create at a more relaxed pace.
Your participation as attendee, sponsor, art buyer, donor, partners with QD artists really counts. With your help, Quick Draw has raised more than $153K to provide scholarships and classroom supplies.
As an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non profit targeted to help art teaching in schools , we depend on underwriters to help with event costs, the guests to fund supplies and scholarships, volunteers to help host the QD event.
